The June Hancock Mesothelioma Research Fund is funding a feasibility study into the effects of the experimental cancer vaccine TroVax in mesothelioma, due to start in the autumn, TroVax will be used in combination with first -line chemotherapy agents Alimta and Cisplatin.

The June Hancock Mesothelioma research Fund is also supporting a study into a compound called JBIR-23, which has been shown to fight mesothelioma cells
